Battle Cards and Sales Guides Sample Reports

You can select up to "sanitized" versions of actual Rauch Associates custom research reports. Reports can be selected from any combination of Market Segments and/or Study Types. These sample reports are based on actual Rauch Associates custom research projects but have been abridged for simplicity and clarity. The information appearing in sample reports has been altered to obscure the identity of the actual companies and products involved in the study. With the exception of common products and operating systems, all data and company and product names are fictitious. For simplicity, the level of detail appearing in sample reports has also been reduced from that in the original studies.

The available sample reports relating to Battle Cards and Sales Guides are listed below.

The report also contains a separate section that adds additional information necessary to clarify, augment, and explain caveats presented in the Sales Guide section.
Sample Competitive Product Presentation - This PowerPoint presentation provides an example of a complete competitive product positioning presentation based on detailed competitive research. The presentation illustrates a networking product competitor's full product line, primary target markets, solutions marketing approach, what products are targeted to various market segments, and pricing summaries.

IaaS Battle Card - This battle card targets a major provider of global Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions to enterprise customers. The card is intended to serve as a quick reference to enterprise sales reps and contains sections on Company Strengths and Weaknesses, Product Overview, Sales Strategy, Value-Add Elevator Pitch, Objection Handling, and Pricing.
Configuration Management Competitive Battle Card - This document illustrates a battle card targeting a major enterprise software competitor in the configuration management space. The card is intended to serve as a quick reference to enterprise sales reps and contains sections on Competitor Overview, Competitor Market Share, General Positioning, Sales Model, Key Customers / Markets / Demographics, Key Partners, Top Landmines to Anticipate (along with ways to counter these landmines), Top Landmines to Leave, Future Product Direction, Pricing Philosophy / Deal Structure, Promotional Methodology, and Professional Service Offerings.
